Rachel Stratman

Born in St. Louis, MO has been making films since seventh grade. She originally went to school for political science until she decided to follow her dream for filmmaking and move to Chicago in 2005 to pursue producing at Columbia College Chicago. She has won 2nd place in the St. Louis 48 Hour Film Festival for genre. She is currently Vice-President of the Producers Guild of Columbia. She is planning to graduate in Spring ’08 at what time she plans to move to LA and attend Law School.

Writer/Director
Don Bitters III

An Illinois native, Don has been writing and directing film and video projects since his early youth, bringing his own distinct, semi-surrealist, style of storytelling to his projects. He was awarded an elusive directing scholarship to come to Columbia College Chicago based on his past works, including his award winning short films. He has previously directed music videos for industrial rock band KMFDM as well as commercials for various companies.

Christian Sprenger

For over 5 years of working as a producer and director of photography, Christian Sprenger has been found in a vast range of productions from 16mm & 35mm short narratives to TV commercials, music videos, live performances, documentaries and major studio feature films. He has represented his creative eye at many international film festivals such as New York Independent, Griffon International, American Artist International, and Black Earth Film Festival with several additional films on their way to the 2007 festival circuits. His artistic approach and reliable work ethic has brought him strong notoriety as a camera operator and director of photography among many of Chicago's highest respected producers and production companies as well as the Chicago independent film scene.

Production Designer
Philip S. Plowden

A local Production Designer, Phil was born in Chicago, Illinois and is currently a senior at Columbia College, majoring in film. His interest in film started at a young age when he worked for a local video store in his hometown of Winnetka. He has worked on countless student films as well as several independent and professional projects. In the spring of 2006 he undertook Production Design for the Columbia College practicum film, Soul Searching. The film received many accolades including a spot in the Take 6 Film Festival. His most recent completed project, as Production Designer was an independent feature called The Devil’s Dominoes, which starred Daniel Baldwin & Vincent Pastore. Phil has experience not only as a Designer but also as an Art Director, Prop Master, Greensman, set dresser and is well versed in overall set construction. He works tirelessly to bring the director’s vision to the screen on any project he undertakes.

Death
James Powell

James is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. He began his acting career at 12, becoming involved with theater. At 18 he became a professional improv comedian performing at ComedySportz. He has also performed Stand-up comedy, appearing as a contestant for Ed McMahon’s the “Next Big Star” website. James has since moved to Chicago where he has shifted his goals toward television and film. Past television projects include working on the ABC pilot “Enemies”, and “The Jamie Kennedy Experiment”. Film work includes “The Dog Walker”, “Death of a President”, “Let’s go to Prison”, as well as other independent films.

Daniel
Peter (Pietro) D'Alessio

Peter D'Alessio grew up in the little hamlet of Plant City, Florida. Pietro scored his first acting success with the town's local community theater in 1991 with a leading role in the play The Desk Set. From there, Pietro found himself on the fast track to success in the acting business. A move to Chicago in early 1992 quickly resulted in a recurring role on the syndicated television series The Untouchables, followed by more roles. Later, a move to Hollywood, California brought Pietro into the production side of the business, and he found himself with steady work as a casting director and producer on a variety of projects for many years. Returning to Plant City in 2001, Pietro opened up his own production company, Yo Soy Irini Productions. After two years, he returned to Hollywood for a time, then took an extensive break from the industry to travel throughout Europe. Feeling refreshed and renewed by his travels, Pietro headed back to the states and has now jumped back into acting. Now based in Utah, he intends to make himself a lasting presence in the industry and is continually seeking out ways to build upon and improve in his chosen craft.
